Perfect location, beautiful accommodation" Right in the city centre in an oasis of calm. Accommodation second to none, everything was thought of from fold-up macs (in case you forgot yours) to a garlic press to disposable nappies to dressing gown and slippers. Beds so comfortable. Beautifully done out, would defintely recommend a stay there, certainly beats anywhere else I have stayed.

Only really needed a bed for the night, but as it was my dad's 60th this was something different and a great experience. Read less
Likes: The facilities were everything we needed in a great location. For a great price.
Dislikes: Shower was a bit cramped but still did the job. Boat wasn't that warm but it was unseasonably cold. Nearby club meant it wasn't peaceful but didn't prevent a good night's sleep.
Response from The Four Sisters Boatel: Thank you for your kind comments.The porcilain shower tray is 2' square and allows shower facilities on board (very unusual on a canal boat) We have central heating and plug in heaters in all rooms. There are also electric blankets & even hot water bottles. We are in the heart of Edinburgh City Centre, the restaurant/bistro has a plaza and closes at 1am. On a warm evening (somewhat unusual in Scotland) people do congregate outside the Bistro but there is no music or generally excessive noise.

"want something different then you have got to try this...awsome.." a nice personal touch to be greeted and shown round by the owner,first impressions on entering the inside of the boat were fantastic,alot of time and thought has gone into setting this boat out and the fixtures and fittings finished it off nicely,the boat was a surprise for my daughter and her friend (12yrs and 11yrs} as they thought that we were staying in a hotel!seeing the boat their jaws just dropped and there was a deadly silence,then it was just "oh my god.this is fantastic" they loved it.
